Join Our Team as a Senior Product Developer

FIGS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Developer to play a key role in developing and executing products that align with our company strategy. As a Senior Product Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing product development and timeline management for Outerwear, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and design integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category expert overseeing product development and timeline management for Outerwear
  • Have clear understanding of design integrity and ability to translate technical concepts
  • Lead POD meetings and serve as liaison between cross-functional teams
  • Partner with Merch to ensure styles/colors are added/dropped in Centric Tracks to GTM timelines
  • Manage all lab dip requests in Centric in partnership with RMM & Color
  • Provide a clear understanding of factory partner capabilities & building capability library for internal reference
  • Build and facilitate Bill of Materials issuance and updates between design and overseas factories
  • Expert in costing and have ability to suggest cost reduction engineering when necessary
  • Anticipate and creatively solve any quality control concerns
  • Partner with the Raw Material team to action lab and wear testing of new materials

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of technical outerwear
  • Deep knowledge in knits and an understanding of wovens and technical wovens
  • Significant experience with product development and production process and lifecycle
  • Ability to respond to vendors within 24 hours
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Robust communication skills
  • Knowledgeable on apparel products
  • Knowledge of fabric construction and finished garment
  • Understands trim and materials
  • In-depth knowledge of design techniques and processes
