At Iconma, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete packaging development process, from design to production.
Responsibilities:- Manage the packaging development process, including design, prototype development, and performance testing.
- Troubleshoot packaging problems and provide creative solutions.
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine packaging requirements.
- Evaluate and select packaging suppliers and vendors.
- Work closely with supply chain to optimize packaging supply base.
- Participate in product introduction teams to deliver new products on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure packaging meets customer specifications.
- Specify and recommend efficiency tools and test methods to develop and validate packaging designs.
- BS in packaging engineering degree or relevant engineering degree.
- 4-8 years related experience.
- Sufficient knowledge of packaging and engineering expertise to write technical rationales.
- Familiarity with cold chain shipping tests and regulations affecting IVDs and Biologics.
- Packaging material experience in corrugate/carton board, labeling/decoration, rigid plastics, and flexible films.
- Experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of design control process and risk management process.
- ISO 9001 certification and experience with process improvement and quality improvement concepts.
