Job Summary

Vestis is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial laundry equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all plant equipment, including high-volume industrial washers and dryers.
  • Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues using technical manuals and schematics.
  • Order necessary parts, tools, and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a daily schedule control for equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in extreme heat and cold conditions, as well as dust and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
