Your Role
As an EHS Professional, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols, conducting regular audits and risk assessments, and providing training and guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, develop and implement safety procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe and healthy work environment, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols
- Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance, including incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, develop and implement safety procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in occupational safety principles, regulations, and best practices. You should have:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental health and safety, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in occupational safety, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement
