Objective: Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy care in Bethel, AK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients of all age ranges and diagnoses within the state's scope of practice.
• Collaborate with medical providers and utilize evidenced-based medicine to develop patient plans of care.
• Exemplify professional conduct, patient care ethics, and respect for cultural diversity.
• Modify patient care plans using age-specific and patient-specific considerations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT or have a good-standing license in another state and awaiting licensure in Alaska.
• Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret occupational therapy periodicals and medical literature.
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and administrative personnel.

Work Environment:

• Standard Occupational Therapy Department environment.
• May include work at our local Long Term Care facility.
