Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Jetbridge Technician to join our team at Carolina Airport. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs). This is a full-time position that requires immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PBB systems, including electrical, hydraulic, controls, PLC, GPU, structural, and mechanical components.
  • Respond promptly to work order requests from airport personnel and supervisors, documenting all interactions.
  • Perform regular corrective and preventive maintenance work, as well as detailed inspections in accordance with the Maintenance Plan.
  • Maintain strict adherence to applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements, as well as safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate resources, equipment, and materials to complete tasks efficiently.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct regular inspections of bridges to identify and document any deficiencies or issues.
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct any reported deficiencies by Airline PBB operators.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on bridges, including lubrication, cleaning, and painting as suggested by manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of PBB systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
