Job SummaryBoston Medical Center seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy Department. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute medications according to prescription orders.
- Operate and monitor pharmacy automated technology systems to maintain inventory and perform daily quality assurance audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist in training staff under the supervision of the Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the MA Board of Pharmacy.
- National certification from the Pharmacy Tech Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam of Certified Pharmacy Techs (exCPT).
