Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

At Transforce, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will have a valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of delivery operations, including hours of service and cargo documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve delivery goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in the food service distribution industry.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience.
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience.
