Tire Installer Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Installer to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a Tire Installer, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and fixing tires, as well as providing tire balancing services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, replace, and fix tires using the necessary tools and equipment.

2. Provide tire balancing services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

3. Read and comprehend training manuals, service tickets, and other relevant documents.

4. Have basic knowledge of vehicles and be able to perform courtesy inspections.

5. Work in a fast-paced environment, handling stress and stressful situations in a professional manner.

6. Perform maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and mopping the workshop floor, cleaning equipment, and emptying garbage bins.

7. Operate workshop lifts safely and efficiently.

8. Maintain a competitive attitude and work collaboratively as part of a team.

9. Follow company guidelines for protection, safety, hygiene, and dress code.

10. Install batteries under the supervision of a mechanic (for mechanics students only).

Physical Requirements:

This role requires standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, turning, and lifting weights up to approximately 75 lbs. Additional tasks may be required.
