The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and operational excellence of our company. This position involves comprehensive oversight of financial planning, risk management, and execution of the company's long-term financial strategy, with a focus on optimizing financial health, supporting our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management to support overall business objectives and the ESOP.
- Provide leadership for all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit management.
- Work closely with the CEO, board of directors, and senior management to inform and guide key business decisions with financial insights and forecasts.
- Oversee the management of financial risks, ensuring the company is compliant with all relevant regulations, including tax laws, insurance requirements, and ESOP governance.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and manage the company's liquidity and cash flow, ensuring the company is well-positioned to meet its financial obligations and invest in future growth.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banking partners, auditors, and financial institutions, to ensure the company's financial interests are safeguarded.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products sectors.
- Extensive experience with ESOPs, tax compliance, financial reporting, and audit management.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP/MRP systems, with experience in Deacom ERP or similar systems preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
