Pacs Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our culinary team in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Set up meal trays and assist with serving different meals
- Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes
- Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift
- Operate dishwasher and prepare nourishments and snacks
- Sweep and mop kitchen, carry out trash and garbage, and put groceries away in a safe and orderly manner
- Leave the kitchen in a clean and sanitary manner and be of assistance when called upon by the cook or dietary supervisor
- Clean work surfaces and refrigerators, sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read technical procedures, read and follow recipes, and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate
