Unit Overview:
The Short Stay unit is a 16-bed observational unit that provides care for a wide variety of patient types, including non-emergent chest pain, ERCP, TIA, kidney stones, 24-hour EEG, long-term trials, appendectomy's, generalized dizziness and/or weaknesses without a known root cause. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Orientation and Training:
New graduates will participate in our Tiered Skills Acquisition Model (tSAM) for orientation, which is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. This model is based on the principles of nursing school and includes hands-on education and training.
