We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team in Metal Fabrication. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality metal products.
Key Responsibilities- Read and follow area cleanup and equipment care postings to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Use practical problem-solving skills and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals.
- Attend scheduled shifts on time and maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Position parts or materials for processing, and care for machines, including adding coolant and lubricating machine parts.
- Remove foreign material from items on conveyor belts and assist other production workers as needed.
- Accurately report labor transactions and job information.
- Contribute to minimizing energy use and material waste, and work efficiently with colleagues to achieve production goals.
- Attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Ability to work as a team member or independently, and to work at a fast pace in a constantly moving production environment.
- Ability to operate a fork truck, with training provided.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, and pushing 50lbs frequently.
