Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Chief Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities

As a Chief Accounting Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including setting up service provider accounts, receiving, reviewing, approving, and recording payables accurately and timely.
• Ensuring accurate and timely payment to service providers.
• Proactively monitoring exception reports to identify problems on accounts, analyzing exceptions, and effectively resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in accounting and/or industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
