Job Title: Operations Admin

About Us: Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is a leading construction company based in South Carolina, offering diverse services such as capital projects, power services, and commercial construction.

Job Summary: We are seeking an Operations Admin to maintain our program's databases by entering, reviewing, and uploading participant and subcontractor information, ensuring compliance with Permitting Desk requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain familiarity with CDBG-DR requirements and construction work in the homeowner assistance program.
  • Prepare and sort documents for uploading in databases, Quickbase, and Canopy.
  • Implement quality control measurements to ensure data accuracy.
  • Resolve discrepancies in information and obtain required details.
  • Collect documentation, review data, and correct deficiencies.
  • Provide information to Program Managers, Grand Managers, and internal departments.
  • Enter new and updated participant and subcontractor information into databases.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information and establishing data priorities.
  • Resolves deficiencies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to managers.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Purge files to eliminate data duplication.
  • Reports improvement opportunities to improve process flows and database use.
  • Maintain participant confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Coordinator as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, or related area or a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office tools, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Fully bilingual, English and Spanish.
