Role Overview: Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to perform third-party inspections and material testing for commercial and public construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes and be able to interpret engineering and construction plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction observation and material testing services to verify contractor compliance with building codes and project documents.
  • Read and interpret engineering and construction plans to ensure that work meets industry standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors and project managers to resolve any issues that arise during the inspection process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or AA/AS degree in a related field.
  • Relevant experience in construction inspection or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Nuclear soil gauge, ACI Field Concrete, ICC, AWS, EDI, NJDCA, and NECEPT/NJSAT are preferred but not required.
