Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patients and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and patient care.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment and prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
