Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Montage International. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising all operations related to maintaining the building and grounds, with a focus on safety, security, and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations, including scheduling, maintenance planning, and walk-throughs.
• Ensure compliance with fire and life safety systems, regulations, and standards.
• Assist with department trainings and innovative pre-shift programs.
• Manage associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling, and quarterly department meetings.
• Communicate with department leaders and hourly associates to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Circulate on hotel grounds to ensure high-quality guest experiences.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of experience in engineering, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• 2 years of experience working in mechanical trades.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in project management fields with outside companies and internal projects.
• Certification from Technical Maintenance Trade School.
• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Must have finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
