Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
Nextgen Pharma, Llc is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering messages and items between establishment departments and to other establishments.

Key Responsibilities:
Follow Standard Operation Procedures for every delivery.
Drive vehicles, or use public conveyances in order to reach destinations to delivery messages or materials.
Load vehicles with listed goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions with hazardous goods.
Unload and sort items collected along delivery routes.
Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, two-way radio, or in person.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
Deliver messages and items, such as documents, checks and packages, products of the industry, between establishment departments, and to other establishments.
Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route.
Obtain signatures and payments or arrange for recipients to make payments.
Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
Check with home offices after completed deliveries, in order to confirm deliveries and collections and to receive instructions for other deliveries.
Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
Assist with general office and logistics tasks, such as document delivery, mail handling, picking, order preparedness and other administrative errands.

Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Valid Occupational License.
Minimum 3 years of experience in related position.
Must have a valid driver's license, Category 3 or greater.
Strong Customer Service skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Be able to pass a Medical Exam by the Puerto Rico Public Service Commission, including a drug test.
