About the Role:

ICL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional I to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional I, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) in our residential programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support and services to residents, promoting their growth and independence.
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene care, toileting, lifts, and transfers.
• Encourage and support residents in expressing personal choice and participating in community activities.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to carry out and record care plans.
• Administer medication, as instructed, and ensure the health and safety of residents in emergency situations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate from an accredited organization.
