We are a leading manufacturer of precision tools, and we are seeking a skilled Machining Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining, tooling, and working with various equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect finished tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with tools and dies to make necessary adjustments.
- Fabricate tools using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery.
- Collaborate to develop new tooling solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced in machining, tooling, and working with precision equipment.
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
