Senior Accountant Job Description

Headfarmer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our PE-backed client in the greater Phoenix area. As a key member of the accounting team, you will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with operational accounting duties, including month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll accounting, accruals, and transactions
  • Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting schedules
  • Cash monitoring, credit card maintenance, variance analysis, financial statement schedules, and month-end close duties
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset
