Job Summary:

The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center seeks a skilled Health Educator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for educating staff and employees on general healthcare practices and implementing educational programs to improve patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design programs to address these needs.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Assist in the evaluation and redesign of educational programs based on learner feedback and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in healthcare education and incorporate this knowledge into educational programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a healthcare practitioner or nurse.
  • Current New York State licensure as a registered professional nurse.
