Instrument Operator

Job Summary

MFS Consulting, LLC is seeking a skilled Instrument Operator to join our Survey division based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. As an Instrument Operator, you will be responsible for performing field surveys, operating survey equipment, and collecting data in various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate total stations, optical levels, and GPS equipment as directed by the Party Chief.
• Assist the Party Chief in field work, including collecting and coding data for topographic, utility, boundary, and wetlands surveys.
• Perform construction layout and utilize total stations, optical levels, and GPS equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Instrument Operator.
• Experience with Leica, Trimble, or Nikon total stations.
• Experience in topographic/boundary survey and construction layout.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout mainland Puerto Rico, including Vieques, Culebra, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
