We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class B City Driver to join our team at Pitt Ohio. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle, picking up and delivering general freight, and loading and unloading trucks. Responsibilities:



  • Drive a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Pick up and deliver general freight to various locations
  • Load and unload trucks, using mechanical freight handling equipment as needed
  • Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight
  • Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions
  • Comply with all federal regulations regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials
  • Drive straight trucks in all conditions, in accordance with federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of driver's logs and other required records
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:



  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • One year experience as a Class B driver, with a minimum of 50,000 miles
  • Pass a Pitt Ohio driving test
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • No record of driving license suspension or revocation in the past 36 months
  • No record of citations or convictions for listed violations in the past 36 months
  • Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
  • Consent to a pre-employment drug screen
  • Have a stable work history and a positive attitude

Pay Range:


Starting from $28.30/Hr.
