About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Marketing Director to lead the marketing strategy for Hot Tools and Gold N' Hot. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the consumer, customer, and competition, and be able to turn insights into winning strategies to increase sales and share for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise execution of category strategy and plans, including go-to-market commercialization plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.
- Drive profitable growth across all categories of brands within area of responsibility, seeking opportunities to improve margin and gain market share.
- Lead brand positioning work, architecture development, packaging design, and execution for the assigned brands.
- Build, manage, and ensure that approved budgeting for marketing expenses are driven with responsibility and ensure within fiscal requirements.
- Lead all aspects of development of annual sales forecasts and supervise the monthly issuance of the latest estimates to update the forecast.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and results-oriented mentality.
- Experience in turning data into insights that drive creative marketing solutions and strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple projects at one time.
- Confirmed analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions.
- Proficient in building foundation of communication messages that can be performed across digital and retail packaging.
- Experience building research plans and handling outside agencies to conduct research.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including working with and presenting to upper management along with retailers in food/drug/prestige/mass channels.
- Demonstrate clear business results in existing or prior role that can articulate reason for consideration.
- Validated experience successful handling new product development pipeline.
