Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Sonesta Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Monitor laundry supplies and equipment to ensure they are sufficient and in working order.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities within all areas of housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting, or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
