You will work closely with our Speech Language Pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide support to clients with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in providing speech and language services to clients
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Provide support to clients with communication disorders, including bilingual translation and interpretation
- Document client progress and report to Speech Language Pathologists
- Participate in research projects, in-service training, and public relations programs
- Graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice
- One year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred
