International Pharmaceutical Growth Strategist

We are currently seeking an International Pharmaceutical Growth Strategist to lead growth initiatives at our Puerto Rico office.

About the Role

This key position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving business growth in Puerto Rico's thriving pharmaceutical industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Puerto Rico pharmaceutical market
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Developing strategic plans to position PharmEng in emerging markets
• Representing the company in client meetings (in-person and virtual) and industry events
• Collaborating remotely with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance) to align business goals
• Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and opportunities for business expansion
• Creating sales forecasts, pipelines, and comprehensive business development strategies
• Supporting the marketing team in promotional campaigns and local branding efforts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or a related field
• Proven track record in business development within the pharmaceutical or consulting industry
• 5+ years of experience in business development or sales roles
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and Puerto Rico's pharmaceutical landscape
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and related technologies
• A proactive, adaptable mindset to work independently and succeed in a dynamic industry
