We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve patient food trays in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle food production and preparation for special functions, including catering and events.
- Perform dishwashing and sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food deliveries and collections, as well as other tasks as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the food service team to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Computer proficiency and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform service recovery and effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to walk to assigned nursing units several times per day.
- Previous hospital food service experience is a plus.
