Electrical Construction Supervisor

The Electrical Construction Superintendent plays a pivotal role in the success of a project, overseeing all field operations for a specific area of discipline, trade, or entire project. This exceptional leader collaborates with project management and engineers to form an effective management team, ensuring safety, schedule, quality of work, and budget are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors.
• Direct the work of all trades assigned to a construction work site.
• Coordinate and schedule work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with subcontractors before beginning each phase of work.
• Plan manpower and personnel needs.
• Lead toolbox talks and briefings.
• Provide management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team members.
• Oversight of facilitating equipment for the project site (cranes, trailers, trucks, etc.).
• Weekly work activities oversight for trade.
• Utilize project contract documents, specifications, and Developing and maintaining the site logistics plan for the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Participate in the development and management of a CPM schedule.
• Review and verify quantity takeoffs and materials management process during the buyout process.
• Track project phase completion against milestones.
• Comply with statutory requirements, including duty of care.
• Participate in required and/or assigned training.
• Provide suggestions to improve processes.
