We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Doctors Brooklyn Heights. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest-quality diagnostic images and studies for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret physician orders and instructions to produce high-quality PET/CT images and studies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including pre-screening for contraindications and proper documentation.
- Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment to maintain optimal imaging performance.
- High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
