Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will provide support to the EHS management team, independently drafting environmental regulatory correspondence and monitoring compliance metrics for all Primark facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently drafting environmental regulatory correspondence and monitoring compliance metrics for all Primark facilities.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of environmental and health & safety compliance programs for all Primark facilities.
- Interacting with business partners to ensure all EHS retail needs are achieved, as well as assisting in the research of regulatory requirements and initiating steps to determine applicability.
- Assisting the Country Manager in managing the internal task management filings for all regulatory required actions and injury investigations and will have an in-depth knowledge of major federal and state environmental regulations.
- Monitoring regulatory notices, participating in program enhancements with all EHS OPS Leads, and managing all OSHA regulatory reporting utilizing the Sentry Insurance platform.
- Escalating issues to the Country Manager as needed (including regulatory response strategies).
- Routinely supporting environmental programs by providing field assistance to all Primark facilities and field colleagues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree – Safety Management, Environmental Safety, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- ASPH or CSP certification preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of conducting OSHA investigations and required deadlines of complaints.
- Working knowledge of Safety Management software.
