As a Medical Laboratory Technician at IDEXX Laboratories, you will play a crucial role in supporting veterinarians in diagnosing and treating pets. You will be part of a fast-paced work environment that emphasizes teamwork, quality, and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing to diagnose animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
- Operate automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools.
- Set up and run lab tests, and read and release results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Specialize in one or more areas, including Hematology, Chemistry/Endocrinology, Urinalysis, Cytology, and Immunology/Serology.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-, 3-, or 4-year degree in a Science-related field preferred.
- Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a laboratory environment.
- Hourly rates targeting $26.00/hour.
