Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Setup Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient setup and operation of injection molding machines, ensuring high-quality production and minimal downtime.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up machines according to standard procedures and protocols\
• Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure\
• Collaborating with production teams to optimize workflow and productivity\
• Troubleshooting issues related to machine performance and process optimization\
• Maintaining accurate records of production data and quality control metrics\
• Providing training and support to junior staff members on machine operations and setup procedures\
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements\
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices\
• Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve overall efficiency\
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and promoting a culture of continuous improvement\
• Conducting regular quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations\
• Communicating effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to resolve issues and address concerns\
• Staying informed about industry trends, new technologies, and innovative solutions that can enhance production capabilities\
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among colleagues\
• Contributing to the achievement of departmental and company-wide goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)\
• Supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs\
• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams, quality assurance personnel, and procurement specialists\
• Coordinating with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to source materials, services, and equipment necessary for production\
• Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation\
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and visitors alike\
• Participating in the development and implementation of new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance production efficiency and reduce labor costs\
• Providing input and feedback on process improvements, suggesting innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities\
• Supporting the preparation and submission of reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and inform strategic decision-making\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as an Industrial Setup Specialist, you should possess:

• A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, manufacturing, or operations management\
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the plastics industry\
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, machinery, and materials\
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues\
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams\
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously\
• Familiarity with quality control principles and ISO 9001:2015 standards\
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies\
• Working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) systems\
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching\
• Passion for innovation, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment\
