Job Summary

This Acquisition Specialist position supports the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract.

Responsibilities include providing business operations support, serving as a subject matter expert in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution, and analyzing various phases of the planning process.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and will excel in advising, improvising, optimizing, and making thorough recommendations to Government Senior Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Operations: Serve as a subject matter expert in the execution of routine business operations for the Directorate.
  • Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution: Analyzes various phases of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process as it applies to the administration and management of all programs within the Directorate.
  • Acquisition Reporting: Provides SME support to draft track program milestones and status, generate overviews of program health and ability to execute, assess program cost, schedule, and technical risks by segment and identify mitigation plans.

Qualifications:

  1. US Citizen and possession of a current Secret Clearance Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics.
  2. 10 or more years of extensive, relevant experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program performing all functional duties independently and overseeing personnel in the same career field.
