Key Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care skills, including vital sign collection and specimen collection
- Position, transfer, and transport patients safely and efficiently
- Assist with feedings, self-care activities, and elimination needs
- Document patient care activities using acceptable medical terminology
- Collaborate with nursing and physician staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Current BLS Certification
- Completion of initial decontamination training and quarterly re-verification sessions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull
- Knowledge of common surgical instruments and University policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
