Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to work a desirable M-F 2nd Shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and hospital experience or internship. Key responsibilities include dispensing inpatient medications, verifying medications, and providing information to healthcare practitioners on medication administration and selection. The successful candidate will also provide in-service training and precept pharmacy residents and students.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense inpatient medications pursuant to prescriber orders
- Verify medications and assure timely and accurate delivery
- Provide information to healthcare practitioners on medication administration and selection
- Provide in-service training to medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff
- Precept pharmacy residents and students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
- Hospital experience or internship desired
- Ohio Pharmacy licensed or must be eligible
