Job Title: Automated Newscast Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Newscast Director to join our team at Jobleads-Us. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing daily on-air production direction and physical execution of our programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily on-air production direction and physical execution of programming as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the station's editorial staff to prepare the broadcast through automation protocols and technical infrastructure.
  • Assume the single-operator position in the control room and be responsible for the editorial and technical execution of the program.
  • Supervise other crew positions, including ENG Receive and Studio Technician roles.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
  • Previous Sony ELC experience is required.
  • Ability to run in automated and manual configuration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership qualities with the ability to handle various tasks.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of video and audio servers, Chyron graphics systems, audio consoles, and robotic cameras.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of iNews.
  • Demonstrable experience as a newscast director.
