We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Concentra Medical Centers. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide client treatment programs and activities as prescribed.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Execute established treatment plans and document actual treatment provided.
- Provide technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment.
- Communicate with patients, staff, and medical providers regarding patient care and progress.
- Participate in clinical instruction of college or university Physical Therapist Assistant students.
- Assist in the training of other Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers, and/or Physical Therapy Technicians.
- Perform delegated functions in the event the Physical Therapist is not at the clinical site.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the work state.
- Previous experience in an orthopedic setting with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment.
- Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility.
- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a manner that shows tact and professionalism.
This position is performed in a clinical office environment. Involves occasional to frequent exposure to communicable disease, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $___ to $___ hourly depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law.
