Job Summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist nursing personnel in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.

2. Maintain a sterile field and assist in the maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.

3. Participate in the surgical team to ensure accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and other devices.

4. Demonstrate expertise in surgical scrub techniques, gowning, and gloving procedures.

5. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required. 1+ year of experience as a Scrub Tech in a Hospital Setting preferred.
