**Job Overview**

Buscojobs Puerto Rico seeks a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team.

As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data to support corporate goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements
  • Timely and accurately respond to accounting consultation requests and internal/external audit requests
  • Prepare notes and supporting schedules for disclosures included in financial statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Collaborate in XBRL tagging for reports filed with the SEC and the execution of SOX controls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Two years of related experience in the preparation or audit of financial statements and banking industry experience preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
