Endoscopy Technician

West Suburban Medical Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our GI Lab team, you will assist gastroenterologists with endoscopy and outpatient procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.

• Prepare instruments and supplies for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assist gastroenterologists with endoscopy and outpatient procedures, following established policies and procedures
• Transport patients and equipment as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence
• Collaborate with the procedure room nurse to ensure accurate preparation and labeling of specimens

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience preferred
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to maintain a sterile environment
• Successful completion of CPR with current certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
