Job Summary
The Manager of Security Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing Ryder's global physical security infrastructure and technology, supporting the entire organization. This role ensures that Ryder's security platforms are designed to leverage current and future technologies to build cost-effective solutions for operations and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and specify alarm systems, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other physical security equipment to achieve security program goals.
- Lead high-profile and business-critical projects involving physical security systems design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
- Evaluate and deploy new technologies to attain long-term security program goals.
- Counsel management, engineering, and sales on security-related issues, providing clear and concise advice and direction.
- Oversee service and maintenance of security systems across the Ryder network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience required.
- Three years or more corporate security management preferred.
- Three years or more evaluation, design, and installation of physical security systems preferred.
- Five years or more professional-level experience in security or a related field required.
Travel
30-40%
Salary
Determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $70K to $90K.
