We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Fund Specialist to join our team at Heartland Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in auditing federally funded grant programs, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and maintaining an organized file management structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and record project documentation
• Maintain compliance with all applicable procedures
• Validate the Record of Environmental Consideration within project documentation
• Complete calculations for eligible costs and verify necessary documentation
• Conduct thorough reviews and validation of project documentation
• Review and validate procurement documentation for compliance
• Assess compliance with duplication of benefits requirements
• Perform eligibility reviews for match payments
• Provide assistance in review and recommendation processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Two years of experience in grant program auditing
• Familiarity with Public Assistance, CDBG-DR, CDBG-MIT, ARP-A, or Infrastructure Bill projects
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written communication)
• Must be currently residing and working in Puerto Rico
