About the Role

To drive the creation of breathtaking, story-driven RPGs that captivate gamers worldwide, we seek a skilled Senior Lighting Artist to join our studio in Boston. This talented individual will bring their expertise in lighting to our Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major game in the Cyberpunk franchise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Art Director, cinematic, and environment teams to craft unified compositions and visual clarity
  • Develop and maintain an optimal lighting pipeline for the product
  • Work independently and with other leads and directors to create workflows and best practices for the lighting team
  • Ensure artistic style consistency with the defined visual style for the game
  • Develop mission and environmental flow with design and work with directors and Production to estimate and plan work
  • Mentor other Lighting artists and foster a creative, trusting environment
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience as a lighter in games
  • Excellent knowledge of lighting tools and pipelines in UE5
  • Ability to use a keen eye to translate game and narrative beats into lighting scenarios
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Able to deliver and receive feedback in a productive and accountable manner
