Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Boston Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide administrative and patient care support for orthopedic patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with duties such as applying and removing casts, splints, and braces under the direction of Operations Manager and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Instruct patients on the use of crutches and tractions.
- Gather patient information for registration and schedule appointments.

Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Completion of an Orthopedic Technology program, Medical Assistant program, or military technical medic training, or at least one year coursework in allied health, or one year on-the-job training in orthopedic related work.
- At least two years of previous work experience, preferably in cast and traction set up.
- Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
