What you will do?We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in controls and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for technology, and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively. This role requires building relationships with clients, promoting our products, and driving sales growth in the controls and security market.How you will do it?
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the controls and security sector. Engage in prospecting through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their Controls and Security needs, provide expert advice on products and solutions, and recommend appropriate systems and services.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our controls and security products, including access control systems, surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and other safety solutions. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Clearly articulate the benefits and features of our offerings.
  • Proposal Development: Create detailed sales proposals and quotations that meet customer specifications. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and to address any technical inquiries.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, manage pipelines, and provide regular reports to management on progress and forecasts.
  • Post-Sale Support: Assist in the onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or associate degree with related field experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the controls and security industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of security systems, access controls, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
