- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the controls and security sector. Engage in prospecting through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their Controls and Security needs, provide expert advice on products and solutions, and recommend appropriate systems and services.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our controls and security products, including access control systems, surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and other safety solutions. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Clearly articulate the benefits and features of our offerings.
- Proposal Development: Create detailed sales proposals and quotations that meet customer specifications. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and to address any technical inquiries.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, manage pipelines, and provide regular reports to management on progress and forecasts.
- Post-Sale Support: Assist in the onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or associate degree with related field experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within the controls and security industry.
- Strong technical understanding of security systems, access controls, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
