General Description

Delivers mail, documents, packages, and other items to business establishments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:Travelto delivery site on foot, motorcycle, or automobile.
:Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
:Receive mail or items to be delivered in person.
:Keeplog of items received and delivered.
:Sort items according to the delivery route.
:Load vehicles with listed goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly.
:Obtains receipts for articles delivered.
:Check with home offices after completed deliveries, in order to confirm deliveries and collections, and to receive instructions for other deliveries.
:Perform services tovehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
:Lift and carry articles weighting up to 50 pounds.
:Perform physical efforts to open mail bags classify correspondence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This Job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

High School Diploma.

Experience

At least one year of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
:MS Office programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
:Able to walk long distances across multiple buildings
:Able to navigate through routes using maps and GPS to deliver promptly.

Certifications / Licenses

Drivers License is required
