The CISO will be responsible for driving the company's cyber and data security vision, strategy, and information security program in alignment with business goals and industry best practices. This role involves a deep and well-rounded background in information and cyber security, with a proven track record in developing and implementing secure processes and systems to prevent, detect, and recover from cyber-attacks. The ideal candidate will have a strong security architecture background, experience in leading incident response efforts, and the ability to influence and advocate for necessary security measures across all levels of the organization.

Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in information security and IT roles, with a focus on security principles, practices, and technologies. A BA or BS degree in a technology-related field is required, and a master's degree with additional security certifications is preferred. The role demands a leader with the ability to shape strategy, provide market insights on cybersecurity, and a results-oriented approach to driving execution. Personal characteristics should include a deep commitment to security consciousness, a culture of high performance, and strong leadership and collaboration skills. Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with the health care/managed care data model is a plus.
